A face or plate was not detected. What should I do?

Open Advanced Detection and increase the detection resolution or analysis strength, then analyze the clip again. Good lighting and a steady, unobstructed view also improve results. Always review the full preview before exporting.

Why can’t MaskIt save my finished video?

Confirm that MaskIt has permission to add videos to your photo library and that your device has enough free storage. You can update photo permissions in your device Settings, then return to MaskIt and export again.

How do I restore my Premium purchase?

Open the Premium screen in MaskIt and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

MaskIt processes video frames on your device. Your source and exported videos stay in your control and are not uploaded for masking. Account and purchase services may use the minimum information needed to provide those features.

Why is a long video limited on the free plan?

Free masking exports are limited to short clips. You can trim your selection in the editor, or choose Premium for longer videos and higher-resolution export options.

Can I undo a mask after exporting?

Masks are baked into the exported copy. Keep your original video if you may need to make changes later, and use “Save as new” whenever you want to preserve it.
